Your tour guide and driver will come and meet you at the hotel reception, after brief information about the day, drive to the first point of the tour which is the panoramic view of Goreme, and then continue to drive to visit Guzelyurt, where Gregory of Nazianzus lived in. A historically large Greek population existed in the area until the 1924 population exchange, when they were replaced with the Turks from Thessaloniki and Kavala. The next step of the tour will be the Guzelyurt underground city which shows clear signs of later reuse with tandir ovens cut into the ground for cooking, but its most famous feature is its squat toilet, isolated along a narrow corridor and the only such convenience so far identified in the underground cities.

After visiting the Guzelyurt the nex step is Ihlara valley then take a drive to Ihlara valley to walk alongside the Melindiz River for about 1 hour which winds its way through the Ihlara gorge, stopping for lunch at a restaurant on the river in the village of Belisirma. After lunch, we continue to the Selime Monastery, the largest rock-cut monastery in Cappadocia with large cave cathedral and breathtaking views over the area after here, drive to visit Agzikarahan Caravanserai (English: Black Mouth of Inn), which bears the same name as the village where it is situated. The first of its two inscriptions tell us that its construction was commenced in 1231 by a wealthy merchant named Hoca Mesud bin Abdullah and completed in 1239. The hall was built during this time by Alaaddin Keykubat I and the courtyard by his son Giyaseddin Keyhusrev II (1237-1246). With its great portals, pavilion mosque, towers and other architectural features, this caravanserai is reminiscent of the castle-like royal hands.
After visiting the Agzikarahan Caravanserai return to the hotel.
